The Market in November
The annual ISO London meetings, held at the end of November and into early December, took place against the backdrop of prices falling to a 57‑month low. Although part of October’s sharp decline was recovered in the latter half of November, prices remain significantly below September levels.
November saw the tailing off of production in CS Brazil. Meanwhile, confirmation of global beet sugar production totals as well as the opening figures for cane sugar output in South Asia give a new focus for the market and signals the definitive start of the 2025/26 season.
